Dear Students and Parents,
I am honoured to be the principal of John’s Central School, Anjugramam. On behalf of the entire team of employees at the JCS, I welcome you all to John’s family. At John’s, we strongly promote academic achievement among our students by implementing a well-balanced curriculum to ensure that the children who walk into the portals of our school will not just love their school years but truly be prepared to face life’s challenges.
“To motivate the weak, to address the average and challenge the gifted”
Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students and enthusiastic parents with high expectations.
Mrs.J.SHERENE CHANDRA LEELA,
M.Sc.(Physics), M.Sc.(IT), M.Phil.B.Ed.,
Academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is devoted to mould the students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow and encourage them to be socially relevant. We have been working hard to create a culture of which we are proud. We understand that a child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life. That is why we aim for high quality in every aspect of our learning programme.
We create a purposeful and friendly environment in which everyone is assured of individual care and attention. Our school believes in preparing students for the future by providing the knowledge and skills to achieve academic excellence, personal growth and positive approach towards life in a conducive environment. We plan our curricular and co-curricular activities such as to make the students confident, independent and versatile by bringing out their innate qualities to discover, participate and perform in various life situations. Regular parent-teacher interaction strengthens the learning process.
Workshops and seminars are organized for students and teachers to empower them.
To fully educate a person, we are committed to cultivating lifelong learners and balanced citizens. John’s is dedicated to preparing responsible citizens with a sense of integrity and honesty. The school trains the students in such a way that they learn to shoulder responsibilities and handle situations independently.
The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of the children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and more. We pay our gratitude to them for their faith in us.
I am confident that the John’s will make itself stronger day by day, adding a new leaf to its grandeur.
THE VICE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
Mrs.Senthil Kodi , M.Sc.,B.Ed.,
Albert Einstein said, “Education is not about learning of facts but training young minds to think”. At JOHN’S CENTRAL SCHOOL we try to work towards holistic development of our students by providing them the tools and experiences that encourage our students to think. The aim is to create empowered minds so that students are able to decide what is good for them, differentiate between right and wrong, choose opportunities that help build them up and enable them to live in harmony with all existence. As the Vice Principal, I am delighted that the school’s values align with my own personal values, including the importance of trust, respect, innovation and a sense of community.
We live in a fast-changing world today and everything is changing rapidly. Human life, in general, has become more frustrating and complex today. Many have become very self-centered, egoistic, intolerant, corrupt, suspicious, and hedonistic. As an educationist, I personally believe that no one would ever argue for a valueless system of education.
If you and I believe and accept that education is a formative process, then the schools and the teachers, in particular, have a greater role to play in the fast-changing world of society today to instill human values in the children and to prepare them to face life as it comes.
I wish and pray that the students of the JOHN’S CENTRAL SCHOOL imbibe the qualities of human values and become socially conscious, intellectually competent, culturally relevant, morally upright, religiously vibrant and emotionally balanced.
